Today, August 22, 2025 I submitted my book "Provenance" to Kindle Direct Publishing as a Kindle book and as a Paperback. This is the Synopsis:
"Provenance is a fictionalized non-fiction. My grandfather was Cuban Consul General under
Fulgencia Batiste and in 1937 was asked to take 9 paintings dating from as far
back as 1600 by old masters to the USA to be held for sale. (true) Marguerite, the heroine of the story was a young student at Bowdoin who becomes a reporter and tries to trace the provenance
of the paintings to Cuba. In her search, she learns she
was adopted FROM Cuba and begins a simultaneous search there for her birth
mother, Viola Morales."
